Yesterday (2nd of September) I posted a parcel for overnight delivery. Brooklyn Post Office accepted the parcel in time for it to be dispatched that same day. Today however, I have not been able to track the documents that our clients were meant to have as it is not registered. Subsequently, I phoned Speed Services and their response was that Brooklyn Post Office did not hand over the parcel. I phoned Brooklyn Post Office only to hear that Speed Services never showed up to collect the item. Thereafter I phone Speed Services once again only to be informed that there is some or other strike going on. WHY DO YOU NOT INFORM THE POST OFFICE TO INFORM CLIENTS THAT DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE SENT OVERNIGHT DUE TO ANOTHER STRIKE. AND WHY WASN'T THE FIRST PERSON I SPOKE TO ABLE TO TELL ME ABOUT THE STRIKE. It takes roughly ten minutes per phone call and I phoned 3 times!!! You work WITH THE POST OFFICE.
