Customer service? What Customer service?

I purchased a Focus ST3 in 2013. Lovely car apart from the fact that the iPodUSB functionality is problematic. The ICE builds an index of media on the USB stick or iPod and uses that for the voice recognition system. When the index gets full (every month or 2), one cannot reset it via the ICE and the voice control stops working for those devices. The dealer where I serviced my car was supposed to sort this out without success. The Ford SYNC owners site has not had any updates in the past YEAR and it is a well known problem as discussed on the forums. The solution is to remove the fuse from the fuse box when this happens. Quite a painful process. I posted on the Ford FaceBook page and was asked to contact the customer service dept. I did on 7 Jan 2014 and received an automated response with this ref. no.
{SrvReqNo:[0600024580]}. The following day I got email stating it was referred to the marketing dept?!? I responded and asked why as this is a technical problem and have not had any response as yet around that or for the problem. I hope the quality of their cars is better than their after sales service. I want this resolved asap as it is VERY frustrating and I paid GOOD MONEY!!!
