I drive a Ford vehicle which has developed a problem. Nothing serious, but an annoying and permanent noise. I have taken my car to two Ford dealerships and neither one had any clue what the cause may be. I, therefore, approached Ford SA and asked their advice. Ford SA referred me back to one of the dealerships that I had already seen. The solution offered is that I pay the dealership an unknown amount of money to discover what the problem is. That, in effect, means that I will be paying for Ford to train their technicians on how to uncover this specific problem. The dealership concerned admits that they have "no clue" what the problem is and how long it will take to rectify. They also cannot present any idea of costs involved. Many years ago I swore never to buy Ford again, maybe now I'll learn a lesson???
