Watch handed in (water damage) 10/05/13. Was informed, circuit board need to be replace, will cost R999.
8 mnths later again water damage. Out of warranty, willing to pay, received SMS they can't work on it. Phoned the shop, spoke to the owner, told me they have not worked on watch. I referred to warranty card, asked me to hold, and change story. Owner is not going to talk to me if I don't bring it in?!
Arrived at shop 04/02/14, asked owner to explain pre. work, they had no records of water, explain cleaning dust, R999 was for "comprehensive over-all service", never replace any circuit. Warranty card stating otherwise, also have a witness. Owner threatens to press Canal Walk security panic button if I don't hand her the warranty card. (I reported the incident to Canal Walk Shopping Centre - management centre - Abdul). After looking at warranty card's writing "comprehensive over-all service circuit" means service/"cleaning" was also done on the circuit.
She hands me my watch, ask to go somewhere else.
This matter was dealt with dishonesty and lake of professionalism.
