I am a regular [URL Removed] purchaser and at the end of Nov 2013 I bought a Police mens watch for R1500 on a "huge markdown special" as advertised.
The product arrived and I kept the watch as a Christmas gift for my husband.
Sold by Groupon Goods CS Police Raptor Chrono Watch (PL.13092JS/04) Price: R 1499.00 This is supposed to be a super duper water resistant watch, but the first time my husband put his hand in the pool to move the Kreepy Crawly, the watch steamed up with condensation on the inside of the face.
I emailed [URL Removed] who referred me to [URL Removed] to log my complaint. I was requested to bring the watch to the Sandton Warehouse (an online service with any form of decency would collect the faulty product). When I queried this I was ignored by Glen Fine. I arranged for the watch to be delivered to them, got a receipt from reception that the watch was delivered. I have been waiting for a response, but NOTHING after numerous mails.
The Groupon voucher also indicates:
Return Policy: Defective products need to be returned for an exchange of product.
Groupon also does not assist in any such complaints! Ignore
