Parcel stuck at customs for almost two months now

Back in November I had ordered an item from the UK. The package arrived locally on January 6, parcel number ii 279 303 655 ZA, and has been sitting at customs ever since.

Granted, a VAT or proof of purchase invoice was needed so that I could be accurately charged customs, but the notification of that required documentation took almost an ENTIRE MONTH to reach me.

So I've emailed the original proof of purchase. That was almost two weeks ago. Since then, nothing has happened, and the phones are never picked up at the JIMC.

This parcel was meant to be a gift for a family member, who had his birthday two days ago. Thanks for ruining that with the beyond slow service SAPO.
