I'd love to blame customs for this, but the truth is that they are not at fault. I receive hundreds of parcels a month (no exaggeration) and DHL is the WORST courier/clearing agent I have ever dealt with. SAPO clears parcels nearly instantly, Amarex/Berco are even better. FedEx/SupaSwift gets the documentation and payment sorted BEFORE the item is even in the country. Only useless, DHL waits until it arrives in the country, phones you TWO DAYS after it has been at customs to get documentation, and then lets it sit there for over a week with no update, no courtesy call, nothing. The tracking info for waybill 7303557936 is a joke! In the meantime, I have had a FedEx parcel ship out to me two days AFTER the DHL parcel arrived in Cape Town, and the FedEx parcel is already in my hands. you, DHL, I hope I never have to deal with you again.
