Repeated delays, lip service. NO customer service

I took my Renault Scenic (diesel, 2004 model) for a major service on 2 December 2013 to the so called Renault Specialists at MultiFranchise in Paarden Eiland (021 514 4000) The service was completed and I requested a quote for repairing the air as well as the glow plugs as the car was not pulling. I fetched my car on the 3/12 once the service was completed. I was told that the parts (resistor fan, fuel pump, and pipe) would be available in 3-4 working days. Phone calls do not get through to the service advisor (Luke, did his job admirably in trying to keep me informed). Eventually I was told to bring my car in on Friday 20 December... and then the saga began in earnest. My car is STILL there (today is 11 January 2014). They received the wrong part/vin number, not once but twice!!! and then had to source one form Stikland and then Somerset West. And so the saga continued. I went in to speak to the service manager Ivan Smith and the parts manager, Bradley Powers. I remained very civil to Mr Ivan Smith... I had requested a replacement car as we had a trip planned and he just refused- just paid lip service, NO CUSTOMER CARE AT ALL!!! |Renault cars are great but SERVICE!!
