I bought a Ryobi Electric Chainsaw from Makro on 11 Jan14. For ease of use I removed the 2pin electric plug and replaced by 3 pin. The saw developed an electrical fault on 23Jan14. I took it back to Makro. Makro refuse to replace it because of the plug replacement. Upon phoning Ryobi they IMMEDIATELY authorised the replacement of the saw - NO quibble, NO stories.
Compliments to Ryobi for not reverting to the fine print of the warranty to escape a legitimate warranty claim.
I will keep on supporting your products - I now own 5 different powertools from Ryobi.
