Ryobi Garden Vacuum Bag

I returned home from an international assignment to try and clean my patio for visitors. The bag on my garden vacuum which was lying under cover on my patio, appears to have disintegrated- after about a year since purchase.
I travelled some distance to Makro-, and asked for a replacement bag. The person I asked continued to avoid me. I then asked Mr Oosthuisen to assist.- he made Makro's position clear-"It is a "Consumable" we don't stock it and we refer all who require it to Ryobi's store in Johannesburg". But if I go OUT (Clearly he wanted to get rid of me) of the store and talk to Shaun "returns"- he will call Ryobi to assist- Needless to say no assistance was forthcoming. From a customer in the "Returns" department I learnt that this is a standard problem- the bag disintegrating and the inability to get a replacement. Another store offers a free extra bag with a new Ryobi unit. I am leaving RSA on the 8th for another 3 months. I await Makro's solution to the problem.
