This gym has gone into liquidation. Apart from that, we had been trying to cancel the membership, within the 7 day period for nearly two years.
I received this email from Jaco Rupping on the 5th of November, after I emailed him to say that the debit orders had at last stopped (he threatened to hand us over and have us ITC listed, should we stop paying), and he informed me as follows :
Dear XXXX
I am sorry to inform you that I have resigned from Fitstop but did foward your email and I requested them to make sure theu stop your debit order please contact the office on 0117040567 and ask to speak to Charity just to make sure they have done as you asked

and WHAM, the debit orders have started again.
we had informed the bank to ''black list them'' on our side, but they changed the code on their side, and so, we start the merry dance again.
Unethical to the extreme. where to from here... legal advice methinks!
