SA Post Office
PARCEL UNDELIVERED DUE TO INCOMPENTANCE

I ordered a gift in September. Been waiting since then for a post office slip. Eventually I tracked it down and they told me that the parcel was sent to Lyttelton Post office on the 18/11/2013. On 24/11 I got the slip out my box and went to go fetch it but was told it was sent back because it had been there over a month! Which I disputed but someone at the post office wrote the wrong date on the slip and wrote 18/10 not 18/11 so therefore it was sent back but it is stamped 18/11?? Firstly surely they should check against the system before sending parcels back incase of human error? They then assured me they will track it and get is sent back from the Cape when it reaches the Cape hub. So the parcel was sent back to Tshwane hub to be and in turn to be sent to Lyttleton post office. When I traced the item this morning it was ONCE AGAIN sent back to the Cape from Tshwane hub??? And the post office tells me they are trying to help me?? My question is? Is this parcel (which is actually a gift that ordered in more than enough time for Christmas) is going to be send betweeen Tshwane and the Cape hub and I am NEVER going to receive it? What can I do to get this sorted out?
