My friends and I had made a booking for a picnic at the Cape Point Vineyards. The booking was confirmed via sms by one of the Ladies that worked there. When we arrived at the vineyard they had not had us on the list of bookings and had no idea as to who send the sms for confirmation. Thereafter they said that they would find out if the kitchen can accomodate us with food as they had only prepared food for listed guests. We were given a menu and said that we can order anything off it but as soon as we went to go order drinks the barman told us that there has been a miscommunication and we can only order burgers and cheese platters. I have never in my life seen such unprofessionalism and bad communication between staff. It was our first time going to the Cape Point Vineyards and first impressions was terrible. We ended up leaving in less than 10minutes as this is not what we expected. After that experience I would not recommend anyone to go there
