Today on my latest MTN invoice there was a content charge of 1722.46. Upon querying with MTN call center they say it is from Smartcall for content subscription charges on my MTN cell number.
I request Smartcall cease and desist with any further charges immediately.
I have never knowingly or willingly subscribed, opted in, received any content services from your company nor even heard of Smartcall before today.
I would like all charges to be immediately stopped and all monies to be refunded/reversed as a matter of urgency.
R1722.46 on my latest invoice plus any unbilled items to date.
I have reported the matter to WASPA as well. ( WASPA Code of Conduct Complaint #22474)
I request your urgent attention to this matter.
