Last year I sold my Telly, contacted SABC tv LIC to advise them this, I received a response requesting my tv license number and identity number which I gladly provided and again requested to cancel it as I was moving abroad. Got no reply to that email. 7 months later received an email saying my tv license payment was due. Mind you I used to receive this even when I had the Telly and made payment. Go figure! I was then instructed to complete their affidavit form as per their procedure in order to cancel my tv license. I did this no problem but still receiving emails saying I owe them money? Customer service is dismal and I repeat myself every time I call them. What am I suppose to do to resolve this? It's also disappointing to know they don't respond to these complaints which clearly shows service delivery is not a priority for SABC tv license.
