I called the SABC TV License division today after receiving an sms from the now notorious SSD&A.

After calling them a few times with no response as you only listen to voice prompts of a woman trying her best to speak with an American accent, very unsucessfully I might add. The prompt tells you to press 1 to re-enter the number or 9 to speak to an operaDer (as she tries to say) I press 1, same respomse, I press 9, same response. After almost 40 tries I gave up and called the SABC.

What a joke. I got through to a very pedantic, arroganr and super conceited Thabo, who eventually slammed the phone down in my ear. Very professional Thabo I must say. I tried to explain to him that the message I got from SSD&A was only with a NUMBER and that there was NO NAME so how am I supposed to know the message on my private phone is for someone else. The fact that it is for my mother, as it turns out, is beside the point. I also explained to him that she moved to Germany in 2008. His response was 'who did she inform that she was leaving the country' If asked i would have told him why but as he is so conceited, it wouldmake no difference to him. So rude Thabo!
