I was told of this site by a friend and went to have a look, you could place bids on certain products and then pay for them. Thought the concept was good. I placed a bid on a R400 Visa gift card and won the bid, then proceeded to checkout and pay, once paid (Verified by VISA transaction) it said a document had to be filled out and sent to them to authorize payment. I did this as i believed verified by VISA payments meant this place was legit. Once I had sent my docs a bill for R512.60 (49 pounds) was deducted off my account. I contacted them and they said that in the terms and conditions of the sale of the Visa card there was a stipulation that first time buying would include a "Membership" fee. I then asked to have all monies refunded and membership cancelled as this is not what I had agreed upon to which they responded "No they cant refund my money". I will be taking legal action with this company and letting the NCR and Consumer good council know about them as it is against the law to hide Membership fees in the terms and conditions. these people are deceitful and i am shocked that they are allowed to do business like this.
