I took my suit and jacket to Perma Press. Both have dark colours. Both of them were ruined. The Chocoloate brown one was washed out and the green coloured came back patchy. The owner sent it for an assessment, which doesn't look independent as they purchase chemical from the same company that does the assessments, so feedback is very biased toward them. His claim is that my suit is old, I have never washed it before, similar to the brown jacket. It appear that they cannot handle dark colours. What upset me is how they speak to you as if I don't know my clothes. One is a Zara suit purchased in Germany, one is a United Colours of Benetton bought in Chicago. The owner recommends Truworths as a destination. So, I've had one of my favourite suites ruined and his attitude is that he is covered by the courts of South Africa and he's been in the business for 42 years. I care less about that. I do not recommend. I regret going there, I did that because I didn't know that my regular cleaners are in the Pretorial area as I am from Johannesburg. Bad clothes management and the attitude is surely to not have me back as a customer. He said I can sue him. I have been taken to the cleaners.
