Classic eyes Pietermaritzburg has been an absolute waste of my time and money! When I first visited your branch in December 2012 I was told by your optometrist Ayesha Motala that my eyes were too terrible to perform an eye test on and was referred to an eye specialist, . After the specialist examined my eyes I was informed that I was suffering from dry eyes which had caused temporary damage but would be treated. I was told to come back for a re-test after the specialist gave me the go ahead. In January 2013 I went back for the re-test. Not only did Classic eyes have the cheek to charge me again for my follow up appointment, but gave me a prescription which I have now found out is completely wrong! 8 months (and a car accident later) due to my extremely poor vision, I finally decided enough! and went to my old Optometrist at Spec Savers. Turns out, I have no astigmatism at all, and my prescription was way off!? In fact my glasses strength is 5 times stronger than what I actually need? How on earth does Classic eyes get someones prescription so so wrong? I have spent over R3000 on glasses and still have half a box of torric contact lenses that are COMPLETELY USELESS! I demand a refund
