Specsavers have an advertisement that they do free eye tests as well as free glasses and lens for kids under the age of 12. So i took my 8 year old son for a screening to determine if he has a eye sight problem because he had been complaining that he cannot see properly. I phoned 3 of the specsavers branches and only the one at the ridge was helpfull. I then took him for the screening and was told that hes eyes are fine and there is no prescription that they can give him as he's eyes are not so bad. My son still complained he cannot see so I took him to another optometrist and they told me he does need glasses, so i decided to get another screening as well from a third optometrist and was told that he does need glasses. I then decided to do a proper eye test and found that my sons eyes are very bad and needs glasses immediately. So it seems that Specsavers are not doing what they say and are false advertising. How many other kids have they done this to. I would really like someone to call me asap regarding this matter.
