Impact Meter services refuses to refund deposit

Hi,

I'm having a serious issue Impa meter services, I moved out of a townhouse the administer electricity for in June, they told me to supply them with my banking details, they would refund my deposit in 4-6 weeks. I called them 2weeks ago they told me to resend my banking details which I did, I called again last week to ask when I will get my deposit, they told me they will not refund me they will pay the Bordy Corp of where I used to stay and I should then claim it from the Bordy Corp. I'm so upset at this game they are playing, when I signed the contract to get electricity from them, no where did it say I will get my deposit from a third party, how do I pay one person and claim from a different person, I no longer have anything to do with the Bordy Corp where I used to live and how do I just from nowhere ask them for my electricity deposit? this is really unfair. I'm thinking to approach a lawyer in this regard as this company is treating me with so much disrespect, I do not see how I've lost the right to my deposit.
