I bought my son a bicycle for R2000 at a well-known chain store, where it was assembled out of the box - incorrectly. On returning home, we found the brakes and gears didn't work properly. As he needed the bike for a 10 km trip the next afternoon, we rushed to the nearest cycle shop - Bruce Reynecke Cycles. They were closing for the day, but kindly took in the bike, fixed it in time and FOR FREE. Lesson learnt: if you need a bicycle, save a bit of money and buy a proper bike from people who know their business. Thanks guys for helping us out when we needed it, and giving my son a safe bicycle to charge around on.
