Last year Desember 2012, we moved into house in Papagaai street 6, Upington. When we moved in, the house was dirty and there was alot faults within the house itsself. We stated cleaning the house and took pictures of everything that was faulty..
After staying there for 4 months, the rental agents requested the landlord to fix few of the problems, which he did eventualy. At the end of June, we received phone call from Kobie stating that the landlord was unhappy with the amount of rent he was receiving and that we had 2 months to move out.
We paid our rent 5 days before it was due, and the deposit was paid 5 months later due to financial reasons. the only amount that was due was the contract fee of R250, which im not going pay due to breach of contract. The outstanding water and light bill, was payed by me R1024.00 because they whould have discontinued our electricty.
We moved out on the 30th August 2013, and moved into more expessive rental house, but now they requested quotation for the repairs that need to be done on the house.
