We have recently bought a house in Centurion through ERA Real Estate Agency in May. We moved in June and from the first day we moved in have experienced countless number of problems with regards to the house. The first night we moved in the geyser burst and the room and the whole house was flooded. The resulted in the skirtings of the whole house having to be removed and the floor in the room to be removed as well as it is laminated floor. We battled by ourselves to get the relevant suppliers who built the house to come and fix the mess we were now in. Through all of this Pierre from ERA was nowhere to be found. The suppliers took their time fixing the problems and again this was none of Pierre's problem. To date we have experienced so many problems with regards to the house and us getting people to come fix this and I feel this is quiet unfair as we bought a house through an agency and they should be making sure that we are comfortable and that all the problems are fixed. Pierre from ERA is the worst agent ever and I regret ever buying a house through his agency. Maybe it is a colour issue as we are black and they think we should be used to mediocre.
