I have submitted a complaint to Carlton Hair Head Office that has not been resolved to my satisfaction.

The Melrose Arch Branch did three things wrong:
1. Did not advise me of the risks associated with lifting box hair colour correctly;
2. The colour applied to my hair turned out not to be even;
3. The cut was not nice, some pieces were left long and was not appropriate for my hair type (my hair is very thick and it should have been thinned).
I have requested a refund from Carlton Hair. They have advised that I must go to the Salon for an assessment. The Manager of the Salon has made it abundantly clear that she cannot be objective and will not support a refund as she has offered to fix the hair.
I am not prepared to take the risk as there is a breakdown in trust between myself and carlton hair.
In addition, I believe that I am entitled to a refund in terms of the consumer protection act as the service delivered is not fit for purpose.
