PAY FOR ESKOM MISTAKES

I cancelled my electricity in 2006. Rented my house out through agents.
After 6 years the current lessee of the above address informed me that there was no electricity at the property. I thought it was a cable fault or.
After contacting Eskom in Bellville they informed me that the electricity was disconnected because the account is a GHOST USER.
I rushed to Bellville office to sort out the misunderstanding. When they started investigating into the account, it appears that there is enormous chaos and no control or the correct information.
Firstly, they said disconnection could not been done because the electricity was cancelled in January 2006.
Secondly, they said that the electricity could not be disconnected because there is an electricity box installed in the house and electricity is still being bought on that box.
They sent "Jan" out to go and check if there is a box installed in the house. Jan confirmed that there is NO box. While all this is happening, I am still at Eskom's office trying to get answers.
In the meantime I connected the electricity - I had to pay connection deposit and re-connection fee.
