In beginning of June 2013 I was looking for a business. I contacted the agent/owner of Investa Business Brokers in Cape Town, a certain Sergio Pinto. He arranged we meet at the Biscuit Mill and from what I can gather his office was not located there, so it is unclear if he has an office of not. He then questioned me at length and asked me personal questions which were irrelevant to my seeking a business. He asked how much I was willing to spend and this is of course negotiable and he should know that the buyer seeks the lowest price and the seller the highest, therefore a normal buyer will not disclose the full amount they are willing to spend. He then promised to get back to me and now 5 months later I have not heard about him. If this is how he conducts his business then I would caution others that he is selective and judgmental in his approach which shows very poor business ethics.
