SA Post Office
Ms. Baloyi refusing to accept a parcel

All I wanted to do is to post a parcel at the Benoni Post Office. The staff member 'serving me' first had an extended private conversation with the person prior to me, then refused to accept my very well packed parcel as it would 'need to be wrapped'. I have never heard such nonsense before. The parcel did have some company names on it (I am NOT going to buy a new box to post items in just to satisfy that clerk!). She called the Post Mistress, who did not see much wrong with the parcel (it has a proper address on it, plus a return address). I then asked the clerk whether she was doing that just to annoy me, and demanded to know her name that I could complain. She refused to give me her name, and the Post Mistress had to come back, informing me that the clerks name was Ms. Baloyi. I am absolutely amazed at how Ms. Baloyi thinks she can treat customers (maybe because I am white?), disgusting! And if the parcel content arrives broken (fragile parcel, with stickers!), I know that Ms. Baloyi kicked it to pay me back. Wonderful how things are these days...
