I would like to raise a complaint against the Celtis Ridge Post Office (0130) in Centurion.
In April I received a blue notice form in my post box stating that I have a parcel that is too big to fit in my box and I that I needed to collect it from the post office. I misplaced this form and decided to go to the office a few days later to explain my situation and see if there was any way that the office could give me the parcel. I was informed by the lady at the counter that the parcel could not be retrieved but a second notification would be in my box shortly and that I would receive my parcel.
I have been waiting since for the second notification and have not received any further notification. My wife, today found the original notice and I took it to the Post Office today. I was informed that the parcel was sent back as I had not collected it. I was extermely upset as I was given the expectation that Celtis Ridge Post Office was following due process and this process would bring me the parcel. When I asked the Post Office staff to explain what had gone wrong, they refused to give an apology and placed the blame on me.
