If I never have to use the SA Post Office's services again, it will be too soon.
This afternoon I requested that my mother speed courier a parcel to me in Johannesburg from the Underberg Post Office back home. As she was filling in the delivery details on the envelope, she was made aware of how unsafe this service is as there's been plenty of times where the parcels have been opened and. She then decided to not use this service as she deemed it unsafe and she was told she has already written on the envelope and there's no way they will give back the money she has paid!?!
How can the SA Post Office charge for a service that was not rendered? How is that possible? Sure this is illegal? The parcel was not transported from Underberg to Johannesburg and that is the bottom line so how can you be expected to pay for that. Absolutely absurd and with so many courier services nationally, I doubt I will be using their services ever again. We feel so cheated.
