I WENT TO CONSULT ON THE 3rd/05/13 WITH DR IYER MBChB (Natal) PR NO. 1470310 PRACTICING IN EMPANGENI, 6BYRNE ST. North KZN. i presented with my illness and he gave an attitude that was uncalled for. when he issued my medication i tried to engage with him as a Doctor asking him what medication is specifically going to deal with my illness. this is how he responded (speaking 'SFANAKALO'- a zulu like language that is usually used to communicate with illeterate people especially in farms or mines: "WHY DID YOU COME HERE? WHAT DID I JUST GIVE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME NOW? I got a shock of my life as i did not know where was all that coming from he continued as misarable as i already was to say that maybe i should check my brains before i come with my mental problems to him. i felt tears on my eyes, a feeling of disappointment. i am worried if that is how Doctors are trained to treat their patients like this. i also felt that he did not treat me properly as i am still sick to this date. he said if it continues i must get painbloks il be ok but am not. am very disap[pointed.
