I searched property 24 & found a Northcliff property advertised for R1050 000. I send an enquiry via website. Dineo contacts me saying the property is available but she has a cash buyer determined to pay R1.5 million and that there was an offer for R1m. She suggested that I put in an offer for R1050 000 which I did by, filling in the offer to purchase. No feed back was received after the offer to purchase was submitted and she said that the bank could take up to 21 days. My daughter (ABSA) called her to ask for feedback after which Dineo called to ask if I had the10% deposit and give her written confirmation of this which I did.
After receiving my email confirming the deposit, she said that the bank declined my offer in favor of a R1.3 million offer & did I want to ofer more - which I declined .i then noticed that the price changed on the website to R1.3mill Rawson still advertised for R 1050000. I was given the contact number of previous owner Mr Erasmus and went to view the property in the interim. I also did a web enquiry when DA did not give me feedback Petronella from Bill Rawson contacted to say that the property was sold for R980 000 on 21-3-2013.no response.
