I bid for this property for R260 000. They declined to accept my offer without giving concrete reasons. I called Thelma Hlatshwayo, she explained what I needed to do. Again the offer was declined after fully complying. I requested an OTP, which was never sent to me. I requested Banking Details so I can pay the deposit, these were not given. I then increased my offer to R262 000. Today I receive an email that the property will be sold to someone for R262 100.00 This is the most unfair thing ever. I am confident that the Absa / MyRoof personnel dealing with these properties are dealing in some underhandedness. I am not confident in this process. It is very unfair. Also, it is not the first time that I am treated like this. The other time I let it pass so I can try again. I am aware that I was the only bidder even from the time I was bidding for R260k. There are no valid reasons why my offer has been declined. R260k offer was based on the other offer that was initally accepted by Absa but fell through. I want this deal reversed. I was the first bidder on this property. I want this property sold to me at R262 100, if that is what Absa is prepared to take.
