For the past 6 months now (including today), I've received sms's from SSD that I owe outstanding fees on my TV licence. It escalates by RIDICULOUS amounts with every sms I receive. I have submitted ALL the necessary documents (affidavids etc) to the SABC's PREVIOUS attorneys (I believe it was VVM attorneys at the time, I was assisted by a lady named Anna), and was informed by BOTH the attorneys as well as the SABC's licencing office, that the matter has been resolved, and I am therefor NOT liable for these fees. I believe someone at the SABC is taking a fat chance or not doing their jobs properly - trying to get money out of cases that have LONG been settled. I would appreciate it if someone could get back to me on this. I still have copies of the necessary affidavids etc.
