My mother was handed over to these people by the SABC even though they have been advised that my mother no longer owns a tv since she moved in with me in 2011. Despite the fact that I have provided them with all the documentation dually signed by her and the commissioner of oaths, she keeps getting sms's. Shapiro Shaik insist that they want a power of attorney for me to handle this on her behalf. I am not handling it on her behalf, I am merely emailing all the documentation they need. She signed the documents herself!
The most upsetting thing about this is the fact that they keep on sending sms's to her telling her she owes them money. To keep on doing this to a 77 year old is not good for her health and all I want is for them to do their job and cancel the licence. (This should have been done by the SABC as they were advised of the matter before they handed her over to the attorneys)
