In Nov/Dec 2010, I was contacted by MDB with regards to an unpaid debt. I settled the matter and after a struggle, received the paid up letter.
In Sept 2012, I was contacted again with regards to the same paid up debt. I sent Lerato Ramatsebo the relevant proof and was later advised by email that the account would be closed.
Imagine my surprise on receiving a sms today for "failure to respond to the sms re the notice of non-payment" from MDB. I phoned and spoke to Matlako at 15h16. She advised me what it was about - and it is the exact same debt that has already been paid and for which I have received a paid up letter. She said that I must contact Customer Care to sort this out. I spoke to Customer Care and was told that the matter had been handed over to Litigation - which is the same number that I first phoned. At 15h50 I phoned again in order to speak to Matlako and the phone just rang. I am very frustrated. Please sort your system out and stop harrassing me.
