These so-called attorneys left multiple deed secretaries to do a transfer of my property. Offer to purchase was signed on 9 December. Transfer request initiated on 14 December. Bond of purchaser was approved on 14 January.
Since then:
- I had to project manage and follow up with the conveyancers on the shortfall that had to be paid into trust - the deed's secretary told me she just took the 'word' of the buyers that they had the money
- The SARS clearance certificate was stipulated as the ONLY outstanding document and we had even signed the transfer document, but then it turns out...
- Clearance certificate was only requested 18 FEBRUARY - over 2 MONTHS LATER
- I have requested status numerous times and also what is outstanding and nothing was ever clearly communicated to me!!!
