I purchased a unit through Absa. StruassDaly attorneys where then allocated the file. It was sent to the branch in Cape Town & handled by Edwina, I had excellent service from her. Unfortunately because the unit is in Jhb, the file was allocated accordingly & incompetence started to prevail. Veni Govender was awarded the file - All documents were given to the branch in Cape Town as the deposit was to be invested in an interested bearing account. The Cape Town branch placed the funds in an investment but Samantha Ridge from Jhb requested all the documents again! " surely the different branches speak to each other"In November I was called by Samantha to sign a document, I asked if there is any other documents she would require, her answer was no. When I got there she wasn't available and then I was told I DO need certain documents. Because I was IRATE she agreed to send a driver to come collect the documents from me. This was in November 2013. It is the end Jan 2014, no driver has ARRIVED as yet. Further to this I also had an issue with place being vandalised. Samantha could not assist but she was to get Veni to contact me. No surprise im still waiting for a call. this is pathetic!
