I have opened an account with 8ta in late 2011 an had failed to pay the account because my phne got lost after a few months I bought it..I had already payed up a 1200 into the account by 2012 n forgot that the fone was still being owed. I was then handed over to debt collectors. 2 debt collectors started calling me requesting for payment. I payed the amounts I was requested for without notice that I was contacted by 2 different debt collectors. Vvm continued calling me emailing and smsing me telling me I still owe money onto this 8ta acount. I kept sending proof of payements to vvm fax no. Until I got tired of telling them dat I payed. I'm being yelled at by this agent every week telling me that I'm lying I haven't payed up my account and its not like their enjoying calling me. I called vvm n explained that I made payments but I'm still being called, that's when they told me that they can only see one payment and the other payement wr not being payed into vvm account but nudebt acc.when I call nudebt they confirm that I have payed up. I called 8ta and they confirm that my account was closed in 2012 and I over payed with 1200 but vvm agent just keep harrasing me!! I'm really tired of this
