I settled my Mobile U account no ZAR 000016144 MB on 8 October 2012. I have a paid up letter from Mobile U confirming the full settlement of the account. It appears that I incidentally overpaid the account by a few rand and the account balance keeps on growing from an amount owing to me to a few hundred rand owing by me to Mobile U. This is as a result of call costs charged to me. I always tell the same story to JM consultants and they confirm seeing the notes in the system confirming that my account is in progress of being closed. The account closing action has now been going on for more than a year. The calls from consultants are escalating. I received four calls from different consultants today with the same overdue account message. I asked to talk to the supervisor or manager but the consultant only makes new notes in the system. I cannot handle these calls any more and therefore have to take further action.
