On 11/10/2013 I was contacted by the VVM call centre demanding payment of R14, 976.00 for an MTN cell account that they claim I opened in March this year. I told them that I did not have a cell contract with MTN but I still received repeated calls from different people on the same day making the same claims. On Monday 14/10/2013 I sent them a police affidavit and a certified copy of my ID to this effect. At the same time I asked them to acknowledge receipt of the said documentation and supply with a copy of the so called contract with MTN. To date I have received neither. Since the 14/10 I have continued to receive calls from the VVM call centre from different people during the same day demanding payment. This continued for over two weeks and still they would deny that they had received documentation from me. Eventually after three weeks of harassment I was told by three different people after three different phone calls that the account would be closed. Much to my annoyance/ disgust I received an SMS message on Fri 29 November once more demanding payment for an MTN account that I do not have. I want proof of this so called contract from VVM and the must acknowledge receipt of docs
