My husband has received sms's recently from MBD Attorneys regarding an urgent payment that is needed for an overdue tv licence. My tv licence is up to date so it cannot be accurate. I have phoned the number provided in the sms only be given the run around and straight answers refused. When the woman asked for my husbands cellphone number (the number which he receives the sms's on) she tells me its not on the records so he cant be receiving sms's from MBD, how do you think i got your landline number to phone!!!
my tv licence is paid once a year, i paid it in may last year and will pay it again in may this year to the SABC!!!
how many people have blindly paid the money into the account number provided on the sms, which is MBD's account number and never seen their money again!
there should be consequences for companies like this!
