In march last year we approached Macgregor Erasmus to represent 8 of us who were unfairly retrenched. The case was taken on a pro bono basis. Glen Kirby-Hirst from the Macgregor Erasmus attorneys gave us valuable advice and always kept us up to date with the what was happening. The company that retrenched us eventually settled out of court on an award of three months salary for each of us. We are extremely grateful to this firm of attorneys and although we were a bit apprehensive at first, they proved to be fully committed even though there was no financial reward for them from our side.
