I used to have an Absa credit card which got handed over to Norton Lambrianos Attorneys (NLA). I settled the account and received a letter from Absa stating the account is settled and closed. Due to a clerical error and additional R1500 was deposited into the account. I contacted Absa and they confirmed the money was paid into the account but as the account belonged to their attorneys I would have to seek a refund from them.
I contacted NLA and Kamo asked me to furnish her with the necessary details (proof of payment, account details etc), which I did. She assured me that the monies would be refunded by month end and told me her manager, Adelaide would handle my queries. I was handed over to Adelaide and re-emailed the info and she assured me it would be handled by month end.
Month end came and went, it's now the 9th and I still haven't received a refund. I have tried on several occasions to speak with either Kamo or Adelaide only to be met with either "she's in a meeting, off sick, out to lunch or unavailable", but ALWAYS assured that they would return my call "by the end of business today"
AS yet, still no refund or call back. what do I do now? Can you help, please?
