I have received numerous threatening SMS messages that I will be blacklisted, trace alerts placed on my credit profile ext.

Kindly be advised that the Edgars account you are referring to as outstanding dates back to 2003.

Thus 9 years old debt.

Kindly be advised that any such listing would not be in accordance with the National Credit Act and any cost that I need to incur to remove such negative information would be claimed back from your client in terms of Section 72 (1)(d) of the act.

Please take further notice that if you client wishes to proceed with this matter I will raise a special plea of prescription as defence.

Please obtain further instructions from your client.

I would in the meantime appreciate if you could please ask your call centre not to continuously send SMS on my phone.
