So every month I get phone calls to remind me to pay. (which by the way, I have to pay for. Everyone getting these sms's from MBD-saying you didnt pay etc-then you phone and say you did pay... well guess what-you pay R21.80 for those sms's that they tell you to IGNORE if you did pay. But they certainly dont forget to add the amount to your bill.
In May I had an issue that my cellphone banking payment did not go through. I only realized it late and made an arrangement with MBD to pay the extra installment on my next date I have to pay. Simple right? NOPE. Instead i get calls now that states I made an arrangement to pay double every month! No, its simple, i made the extra payment because the payment didnt go through. Again I get an sms after speaking with a call centre agent stating-oh it was a little less than agreed, please pay the difference. NO MBD, i paid what i pay every month on the 28th of June. So why are you sending me messages that are irrelevant? I can tell you now why-because you are adding extra charges (that i didnt even agree to) to my account. MBD charges you even if you make the call! I want these charges removed from my account! Or should i contact the ombudsman?
