Terrible place to stay!

I would not use this as a holiday destination. Ever again! It was stressful dealing with the owner. Even though she had received proof of payment, she threatened not to let me and family of 5 (laden with luggage all the way from JHB) enter the property an hour before we were due to check-in. I had to beg, plead and then get my personal banker to send her an e-mail and sms to confirm that my proof of payment was valid (talk about being treated like a criminal). Then, we were quite uncomfortable in the unit itself when we realized that there is a camera installed (not a CCTV complex camera) but a camera which monitored your comings and goings in and around the unit.
Then getting the deposit back was another nightmare. I mistakenly left my spoons behind, and took the wrong (standard nothing-fancy spoons from the complex). An honest mistake. But hey, a spoon is a spoon right? No way - this owner then decided that I should forfeit some of my deposit to replace the spoons. R150 for 2 spoons is what I forfeited, then only got my deposit back a month after.
Overall, not a pleasant experience dealing with this owner and I would neit
