Membership card not delivered

I applied to join discovery medical aid in January 2013, and my membership was approved on 17 January 2013. I was advised that my membership card would be delivered shortly.

My membership would only commence on 1 April 2013. The reason I applied in advance, was in case there were any errors on the card or any delays, that I would still be able to correct the errors and receive my card in time for when my membership begins.

It is 4 April 2013, and I still do not have my membership card. And the consultant at the call centre blames the delay on the postal strike.
That is precisely why I applied in advance, to avoid these kinds of delays.

Now the courier will contact me within 2-3 working days, and my card will only be delivered within 2 weeks.

I also enquired about changing my debit order date to the 27th of every month. I was advised that this date was not available.

I have only been a discovery health member for 4 days and I am very disappointed at the service I have received thus far.
