I have been to trauma on 9th April and I can't describe the treatment I've been given, maybe because I am a young Indian girl and was attended to by whites and blacks. There was no compassion or patience. I was poked almost 4 times whilst trying to get a vein for a drip. I was shivering and screaming with pain however there was no comfort at all. The arrogant white old nurse on duty was so cold towards me. I was then approached by the surgeon on call who looked at me asked me what's wrong and said he was admitting me for 3 or 4 days and will do surgery on Thurdsay, do you not need to do an examination and look at the patients history before making such decisions??? I called the nurse and said I wanted to leave and she once again had attitude, I pulled out my drip and left the hospital and the nurse said to her colleagues just leave her. I am waiting for my hospital bill and if I am charged for anything I will sue the hospital for the treatment I was given and expose this to the media!
