I pay medical aid on a monthly basis that I hardly use, To be precise my premium is R1400 I went to a doctor o n ithe 5 december 2012 and bill was 838.00, medical aid never paid and doctors re blacklisting me. I don't think this is fair @ all why pay for medical aid if I will end up on itc. I'm sure there is better companies who will appreciate my money and render poor and pathetic services like this. Discovery such a huge company and I don't know why they are failing as an adminidtrator. Their excuse 4 not paying is I went 2 an out of network doctor but as per my understanding they should pay as per scheme rate but their don't care about people they only care about money and their business. Its such a shame on how money has taken power peoples needs are not taken into consideration. I'm now going to itc for 838.00 that medical never paid. My premium is more than my bill but they still could not pay, let alone short pay the claim
